The process to create this work involved the explosive violence that takes place when pouring molten glass directly on cold pieces of colored glass arranged in the mold. It, the colors, shapes, and later cold working look to express sudden strongly conflicting emotions.

This panel is 3.5 x 5.5 ft x 1 inch thick fused art glass.
It was in the kiln for over 70 hrs during 3 violent Pacific storms. Power went out all around the area, but not our studio.
The idea behind the design and how it accidentally survived is one of those delightful contradictions that are too good not to pass on.
